My Story

It is very simple. My hangovers became progressively worse with every new year, so I drank less and less to try and avoid being ill. It got to the point where I was ill for three days, after just one beer or one glass of wine. I stopped drinking for a year to give my body a ‘rest’. This made no difference and my hangovers remained as horrific as ever. I sent for several books all about the liver, how it works and the nutrients it needs. After eighteen months of taking lots of different vitamins, minerals, herbs and amino acids to try and prevent a hangover, I made a simple discovery. I found taking sufficient amounts of vitamin C powder mixed with water, BEFORE going to sleep meant I woke up without a hangover. This process also worked for family and friends, so I decided to write a mini-book, Hangovers Solved by Robert Walker, which explains the process in more detail.

How Much Vitamin C To Take

This is the only thing for you to work out. Your body is unique to you and so are your vitamin C requirements. There are two ways you can approach this.

1. The Vitamin C Tolerance Test

This is explained in detail in the book. I completed this and I recommend everyone follows this method.

2. The Trial And Error Method

This simply involves you purchasing some vitamin C powder (link above) and taking different amounts, until you identify how much your body needs to prevent a hangover.

Warning

There is one pitfall to the trial and error method which does affect some people. You may have a very small tolerance to vitamin C and taking more than your body needs, could upset your tummy. This is why I advise everyone to complete the tolerance test.

I have studied human health for the last twenty years and have been using the above method of preventing hangovers since 2005. I wrote Hangovers Solved in order to share information and my experiences with other people.

Summary

Taking vitamin C before sleeping prevents me waking up with a hangover. Completing the tolerance test provides the best results. It does require investment of your time, but like most worthwhile things in life, you do get the best results if you are willing to put a little effort into doing something.
